Romantic Britain Tour Itinerary

Day 1-2 : Edinburgh

A trip to Edinburgh is sure to be enjoyed both of you. You can lose yourself in the small streets, wander through incredible shops and of course explore the famous castle overlooking the city. Full of culture, romance and plenty to see, it's not one to be missed. Price includes 2 days of sightseeing bus and entrance to Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyrood House and Royal Yacht Brittania.

Day 3-5 : Lake District

The English Lake District is a wonderfully romantic destination. With a gentle meander through lake and mountain views, a sunset boatride across a stunning lake and an evening with a top bottle of red wine in front of a roaring fire in a quiet and quaint English pub. What more could you possibly need?

Day 6: Chester

Chance for souvineer buying whilst admiring the old Tudor buildings, the Victorian mall, the grand cathedral and the old city walls. Take a stroll down the old river bank or even better, hire a peddle boat and go for a gentle ride. Whatever your taste, Chester is a lovely place to be.

Day 7: Harrogate

The spa town of Harrogate is a friendly northern town with cafe's and tea houses a plenty. A lovely place to spend the day, chill out and relax whilst admiring the old buildings and Yorkshire folk going about their day.

Day 8: York

York is a popular weekend getaway for British couples. A beautiful historic city, it offers as much or as little to do as you like along with bags of history, one of the best cathedrals in the country and some fantastic museums and attractions. It is also home the Shambles which is regarded as Britain's most picturesque street.

Day 9: Whitby

Whitby is a quaint seaside resort with a long history. Whitby's skyline is dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda's Abbey, high on Whitby's East Cliff. Spreading below Whitby, a maze of alleyways and narrow streets run down to the busy quayside. A great place to visit, and enjoy the stunning sunset views.

Day 10: Edinburgh

Returning to your starting point, your tour will conclude in Edinburgh (or Glasgow for International airport).
