Ennistymon

Another slightly quieter base to stay or just to visit is the town of Ennistymon is a picturesque little market town in the north west of county Clare. There, you will find plenty of traditional shops which sell local crafts. The river Cullenagh flows through the heart of the town forming a beautiful cascade of waterfalls. Ennistymon makes a good base for visiting the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands.
