Bath, Stonehenge & Salisbury Itinerary

Join a full day group coach tour of Salisbury, Stonehenge and Bath. You will start your day heading to the city of Salisbury, where the Cathedral stands as an international symbol of Christianity, a world class heritage attraction and the inspiration behind Ken Follett's best seller "The Pillars of the Earth". On entering the Cathedral you will be impressed with the graceful, elegant proportions. You will then move onto Chapter House home to one of only 4 surviving copies of The Magna Carta and see the oldest working clock in Europe which dates back to 1386. You will continue your journey with a stop at the magical and awe-inspiring Stonehenge, Britain's most iconic archaeological site. 5,000 years ago the huge 40 tonne stones were dragged from over 280 miles away in Wales. Who built it and why remains a mystery today, some say it was built as a religious temple, or an astronomical clock whatever the reason Stonehenge continues to enthral the imagination and captivate the heart of every visitor. Your final stop of the day is in the beautiful Roman city of Bath, a World Heritage Site where you will see its delightful terraces, elegant crescents and stunning architecture as well as visiting the famous Roman Baths built over 2,000 years and still in perfect working order.
