Giants Causeway Day Tour from Belfast Itinerary
Enjoy the first stop of the day at Carrickfergus Castle, before travelling onward to the main highlight of the tour - Giant's Causeway, Irelands only world heritage site. Spend some time climbing over the ancient stones, and visiting the untamed landscape before making a retreat to one of the tempting cafes or restaurants at the Causeway for lunch. After lunch you will move on to the ancient ruins of Dunluce Castle for a quick photo stop, before moving on to the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery at Bushmills. Here you can browse in the extensive gift shop, or make a visit to the bar to have a swift taste or two of the famous tipple! The next stop of the day is the world famous Carrick-a-rede Ropebridge, where the brave among the group can make the terrifying trip across the bridge (admission not included) that was originally erected by salmon fishermen (weather permitting). Alternatively if you prefer to keep your feet firmly on land, take one of the exhilarating walks, and enjoy the stunning views.
