You will be your day with a stop at the Medieval Warwick Castle, here you will be taken on a journey through the Castle's 1,000 year history to a time of bloody battles, extravagant banquets and royal ceremony. Visit the Madame Tussaud's waxworks display where you can hear the Earl of Warwick as he prepares for battle. See the gruesome dungeons where prisoners were tortured. Alternatively, you might like to stroll through the Castle's lovingly tended gardens. Your next stop is at Stratford upon Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare where you will visit his Birthplace, and will gain a fascinating insight into his life. You will then continue on, driving through one of the most scenic areas of England, the Cotswolds. Passing through charming villages with thatched cottages, tea shops and ancient inns towards your next stop in Oxford. Oxford, most famous for having the oldest university in the English speaking world, with teaching occurring as long ago as the 11th century. The colleges date back to the 13th century, an inspiration to generations of scholars including President Bill Clinton, and the authors J R R Tolkien, Lewis Carroll and C S Lewis. You will have a walking tour to see Christ Church College, the Bodleian Library and the Sheldonian Theatre.
