Day 1

Oxford

Arrive in Oxford, collect your hire car and explore Oxford’s charming centre. Highlights include the fantastic historic university buildings and museums. This famous university city offers plenty to see and you will have 2 full days to explore its delights, which include its many colleges. Christ Church College was where 13 British prime ministers were educated was also used as a film location for the Harry Potter films. You can also visit Magdalen College with its unusual gargoyles and see the Bodleian Library – one of the oldest public libraries in the world. Enjoy a two night stay in Oxford.

Day 2

Churchill's Blenheim Palace

On your second day, consider a half-day detour to the magnificent Blenheim Palace, just outside Oxford. This Baroque masterpiece, home to the 12th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, is a must-see.
